Y-Biologics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) places great importance on protecting customers’ personal information and complies with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
In principle, the Company destroys the personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. However, the following information is retained for the specified periods for the reasons stated below.

B. Retention in accordance with relevant laws
When retention is required by applicable laws such as the Commercial Act or the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Company retains the information for the legally mandated period. In such cases, the information is used only for the stated purposes.

4. Procedures and Methods for Destroying Personal Information
In principle, the Company destroys personal information without delay after the purpose of its collection and use has been fulfilled. The procedures and methods are as follows:
• Destruction procedure:
Information entered by members for registration, etc. is transferred to a separate database (or a separate file cabinet for paper documents) after the purpose is fulfilled, and stored for a certain period in accordance with internal policies and relevant laws before being destroyed.
The personal information transferred to a separate database is not used for any other purpose unless required by law.
• Destruction method:
o Electronic files: Deleted using technical methods that prevent data recovery.
o Printed materials: Shredded or incinerated.

5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company does not provide users’ personal information to outside parties in principle. However, the following are exceptions:
• When required for product delivery, installation, or after-sales service (Name, mobile phone number, installation address)
• When the user has given prior consent

6. Outsourcing of Collected Personal Information
The Company does not entrust personal information to third parties outside of delivery, installation, or A/S service providers under contract with the Company without customer consent. If outsourcing becomes necessary in the future, the Company will notify users of the entrusted party and details of the work, and obtain prior consent where required.

7. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them
Users and their legal representatives may at any time view, modify, or request deletion of their own personal information or that of children under 14.
To view or modify personal information of yourself or a child under 14, click “Edit Personal Information” (or “Edit Member Info”, etc.).
To cancel membership (withdraw consent), click “Unsubscribe” and go through identity verification.
Alternatively, you may contact the personal information manager by letter, phone, or email to request access, correction, or deletion.
When a user requests correction of an error, the Company does not use or provide the information until the correction is completed.
If erroneous information has already been provided to a third party, the Company will notify the third party without delay so the correction can be applied.
Deleted or terminated personal information is processed in accordance with the “Retention and Use Period” section and is not accessed or used for any other purpose.

The Company uses cookies and other tools that store and retrieve your information from time to time. A cookie is a small text file sent from the website’s server to your browser and stored on your hard drive.
